Biography
Dr. Stephen Jane studies lake ecosystems and how they are responding to ongoing regional to global-scale change, such as warming. He is interested in how drivers originating external to aquatic ecosystems influence processes that occur within these systems. While at Notre Dame, he will be exploring how ongoing lake deoxygenation associated with climate change may influence the cycling of carbon through these systems.
