Qing Cao

Qing's research centers on the synthesis and intercalation of two-dimensional materials, particularly graphene. She investigates how interfacial charge transfer affects the optical and electronic properties of 2D heterostructures. Her postdoctoral work at Notre Dame focuses on developing bio-nano interfaces for 3D implantable multiplexed biosensors that enable continuous, painless, and real-time detection of multiple biomarkers for advanced healthcare applications.
